Awkward poses and derp galore

So let's all just agree that I would make a shit walking clothes hanger. I always look awkward in photos, almost like a dog waiting for a ball to be thrown. But I digress...

New skirt! Woot!

I had to wear my platforms with this and I was still almost too short to pull it off. Maybe it's just me, but I'm sure I look much shorter in photos...maybe it's the way my giant of a husband has to stoop to take a photo of me? Anyway, I'm sure it looked better for realsies.Or maybe I'm just deluded.

When I turned around, there was a rather appreciative 'Ooooh' from the ladies in the office. I quite like the lacing at the back too :)

The top is ancient, but one of my first purchases from ChicStar. It was part of this outfit...

I'm still undecided if it even goes with the skirt but really, it's the best of what I had. I think the plain black corset I've ordered will be a winner, though even I  wouldn't wear a corset to work. I know I overdress for work, but I still draw the line somewhere.
